My name is Yana, and my journey in the beauty industry began when I was just 15 years old.
Since then, I’ve walked a path spanning over 22 years.

I dreamed of becoming a makeup artist, but it was my father’s advice that led me to study hairdressing — a decision that unexpectedly revealed my true calling. I started working in a salon, where I also learned nail artistry — and instantly fell in love with it. After three years, I let go of hairdressing with gratitude and fully immersed myself in the world of nails.

From that moment on, I never stopped. I trained in Israel, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and Russia, gaining knowledge, inspiration, and experience. I moved, I doubted, I explored other beauty paths — makeup, lash extensions, hair, even art and painting. I studied, practiced, taught, and kept trying. But nails were always by my side. They became my stability. My foundation. My love.

After moving to the U.S., I had to start from scratch again — from being unknown to having a fully booked schedule. I built my name, gained a reputation, had a daughter, explored painting and art. But my heart kept bringing me back — to beauty, to people, to the dream.

That dream became reality when I opened Y YANAMODE — a studio I poured my soul into.

This isn’t just a salon. It’s a space of strength, taste, and warmth. A place where beauty is born — but also confidence, peace, and inspiration. A place where people reconnect with themselves.

Every detail of the studio is infused with love — from the design to the atmosphere. I opened Y YANAMODE while pregnant with my son, and the light, magical energy of that time still lives in every corner — for you.
